Biography
August Puckett, a rising senior at North Carolina State University, is a lifelong
outdoorsman passionate about environmental sustainability. Inspired by early
memories of camping and hiking with his family, he dreams of passing down a healthy
ecosystem to future generations. Pursuing dual majors in Geology and Marine Science,
he is dedicated to making a lasting impact through scientific endeavors in carbon
sequestration and climate system science. August is motivated to work alongside his
peers in the pursuit of a greener tomorrow.
